Where to Sell Your Work

We all know the horrors of spec work, but even without doing spec work we all probably still have some work lying around gathering dust.

Maybe you did some work on a personal project and decided not to finish it up, or perhaps you where learning a new technique and did some test designs.

Rather than letting your work gather dust, why not sell it and pad that emergency fund, but where can you sell it?

Marketplaces

Many marketplaces exist for designers to sell their stuff, some are specialized in graphics, domains, or complete websites, whilst others allow you to sell you stuff whatever it happens to be.

Good point about not doing spec work, but giving a client more than one preview to choose from creates it’s own backlog of designs. If you’ld like to share those designs publicly with the web design world, check out the new publication website:

It looks like a cool site crowd.

my suggestions
1. Flashden.net (for all of you who make cool flash stuff)
2. Themeforest.net (for web designers/developers who want to get their site templates out there)

those are my two visits weekly for inspiration, purchases and more.
