Ever since Fedex revealed their logo with the hidden arrow, conceptual logos have become a popular trend in logo design.
Although very difficult to pull off, if done correctly hiding meaning in a logo, can be a very powerful way to brand yourself, your company or your website.
We’ve searched the popular logo showcase websites (LogoPond, Logofaves, and logofromdreams) and beyond to find this selection of awesome conceptual logos.

So what is supposed to be special or “conceptual” about the Museum of London logo? That’s the only one I don’t get…
@Brent: The logo represents the footprint of London, with the different layers reflecting how that has changed over time.
Fedex is the legendary one! I didn’t know about the rest though. Amazing collection, thanks!
Some nice work, wish I could come up with logos that good
Very inspirational and conceptual logos. Killed production and Fedex are my all time favorite logos.
Thanks for the post.
I’ve designed a logo or two in my day, but I have to say they have all paled in comparison. Great work from everyone……so clever.
Thanks for this nice collection.

My favorite custom logo is the “Bones” (6th from top)
Paint The City logo reminded me at a quick glance of the Marlboro Cigarette logo. The colors are identical but the design appears visually appealing.
Thanks for the inspirational post and good luck buddy.

Best Regards,
Loved them! Super cool, innovative and creative.
That Bison logo is unbelievable! Seen something similar with Shark before as well. I remember the first time seeing the Fedex arrow and wondering how I never realized it before. Now it’s all I see whenever I see their trucks go by. Damn good design

Every Logo is interesting and creative.
Its really awesome work. Very creative, sharp minded’s work. Very nice. Unable to say more good work…its just wao………….
Never knew about the arrow hidden in the Fed Ex logo! Mind = blown. To bits.
Absolutely full of imaginative, creative, and inspiring ideas. I love the clever yet simplistic thoughts behind them.
These are very cool!
I think our graphic designer did a great job with our logo as well, as you can see here: http://www.cakepopfusion.net
PS – In case it’s hard to see, our initials are in the cake pop (or maybe it’s the other way around) — the cake pop is made of the “C” and the “P” and then the”F” follows it. All I told our designer was that our initials had to be part of the logo, and this is what he came up with. I love it!
I’ve seen a few of these, but a lot of them are brand new to me, holy crap. They’re good looking too. I tried myself in a logo yesterday, hopefully it came out better than I thought.
Awesome Inspiring, good work!
